Baycrest

Our clients of this projects are a pair of couples with 2 lovely kids, they both worked in architecture field thus they are more emphasised on the spatial arrangements and colour tone of the design.

Cecelia & Arki’s home are located in Ma On Shan, the living space is spacious however the original kitchen is quite enclosed and tuck in the corner.

The first thing we did was to swap the original kitchen with storage room, so the kitchen is directly next to the living room. Next step we opened up the kitchen, thus the family can still communicate during meal preparations. The kitchen area can still be closed off using two big sliding doors when necessary. Lots of curves are introduced into the cabinet design, which soften the usual rigid cabinets. With bright colour tones on the cabinet, the spatial experience feels more energetic.
