Our clients for this home are both designers and they adore Japanese aesthetics & natural colour tone. To match with their simple lifestyle, the main design elements for this home would be minimalism, clean, fresh yet cozy.

The first thing you will notice when entering the flat is the subtle café vibe in the dining space. Many coffee shops take the advantage of open shelves to showcase their cool looking books, crockery and merchandise. We embedded that idea into the shelves next to the dining table, to create that coffee shop/ galleries vibe. Instead of using 4 chairs, we replaced 2 chairs into a bench. In order to further create the café ambience to the home.

The living room is minimal, we only used a few timber stripes to decorate and extend them to hide the beam above the TV wall. Also, framing the TV like a gallery.
